Privacy Policy

In short: we collect the details you choose to send us, we use them to reply to you and do the work, and we do not sell them or track you around the internet. There are no cookie banners here because there are no tracking cookies.

What we collect, and why

When you send an enquiry

Our enquiry form asks for your name, your email address, your business or website, your preferred project route and service, and your message. We use those details to reply, to prepare a quote, and — if you go ahead — to carry out the work. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to someone who has contacted us about our services, and then the performance of our contract with you.

When you email or call us

We keep the correspondence, for the same reasons.

Illustrative demonstrations

The homepage showreel illustrates website, AI, automation and email capabilities. It is not a live chat assistant, does not accept messages and does not send any demonstration content to an AI provider.

Automatically, just by loading a page

Our hosting provider records ordinary server information such as your IP address, the page requested and your browser type, in order to serve the site and protect it from abuse. We do not combine that with anything else or use it to identify you.

What we do not do

• No analytics. This site runs no Google Analytics, no tag manager, and no third-party analytics of any kind.
• No cookies. The site sets no cookies at all, and stores nothing in your browser. That is why you were not asked to accept any.
• No advertising or tracking pixels, no social media trackers, and no profiling.
• No selling or sharing of your details with anyone for their own marketing.
• No marketing emails unless you have asked us for them.

Who else handles your information

We keep the list of suppliers short, and we only use companies that offer appropriate contractual protection for personal data. Each is a service provider acting on our instructions, except where noted.

• Netlify — hosts this website and receives enquiry form submissions, which are stored in our account there and forwarded to our inbox.
• Google Workspace — our business email and files, where your enquiry and any correspondence live.

These providers are based in, or store data in, the United States. Where personal data is transferred outside the UK, it is covered by the transfer safeguards those providers offer, such as the UK addendum to the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or the UK extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts and Fontshare. Your browser connects to those providers to download the font files, which exposes ordinary connection information such as your IP address to them.

How long we keep it

• Enquiries that do not become projects: up to 12 months, then deleted.
• Client records, invoices and project correspondence: six years after the end of the work, because HMRC requires us to keep business records for that long.
• Server logs: kept for a short period by our hosting provider under their own retention policy.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us to: give you a copy of the data we hold about you; correct it if it is wrong; delete it; restrict or stop our use of it; or provide it in a portable format. You can also object to processing we carry out on the basis of legitimate interests. Exercising any of these is free, and we will respond within one month.

Email hello@imersiv.digital to make a request. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please tell us first so we can put it right — and if you are still not satisfied, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Security

The site is served only over an encrypted HTTPS connection. Our accounts are protected with strong, unique passwords and two-step verification. No system is perfect, and if a breach ever affected your personal data we would tell you and the ICO where the law requires it.

Children

This site is aimed at businesses and is not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect information about anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

If we add a tool that changes any of the above — analytics, for instance — we will update this page before switching it on, and change the date below.
